DIY Christmas Bra - What you will need

What you will need:

Bra
Feather boa
Ribbon
Rhinestones
Small bows
Hot glue gun
Scissors

DIY Christmas Bra - Step 1

1. To make gluing your  rhinestones to the bra easier, try to get an idea of what sort of design you’d like to create and lay out your rhinestones for easy picking.

DIY Christmas Bra - Step 2

2. Use hot glue to attach the rhinestones to the bra with whatever design you have come up with. We went with a randomized, clustered design for our rhinestones using different shades of red, green and silver.

DIY Christmas Bra - Step 3

3. After you have finished gluing on your rhinestones, attach a small bow in the center of the bra. This step is optional but we feel that the small red bow really gives it a festive look as the centerpiece of the bra.

4. Measure a piece of ribbon vertically against the bra and cut it according to the measurements. Hot glue the ribbon to the bra.

DIY Christmas Bra - Step 5

5. This is how our bra looks like so far. You can leave this as it is, add more ribbon or hot glue the feather boa trim against the top of the bra like we did.

DIY Christmas Bra

And now we’re finished! Doesn’t it look perfect for Christmas? We’ve seen many amazing Christmas-themed bras, but we must say, that the DIY Christmas Bra looks lovely enough for a Winter Wonderland. You can stick to a Christmas theme with red and green rhinestones or you can even add other colors to really make it pop. Insomniac’s White Wonderland event is coming up during New Year’s Eve and designing your own rave bra with white and silver accents would look amazing. Customizing your own bra has really taken off because of all the concerts and music festivals. And we hope this tutorial was useful in giving you some ideas on how you can design your own DIY Christmas bra.

This week at iLoveSexy, we felt like tapping into our inner bad girl and we came up with this easy and affordable DIY studded bra tutorial. We’re sure you’ve seen this studded bra around in stores with various designs. But if you knew how easy to it was to create your own, you would definitely want to make your own DIY studded bra at home.  Adding studs to an old bra can really spice it up and it makes an amazing accent piece in a fierce and modern outfit. We made this with our Convertible Four Way Bra, which works great because you can wear this bra many different ways once you are finished. If you prefer something more demure and feminine, you can opt for this Demi Cup Underwire Padded Bra which has lace and faux leather detailing. DIY Studded Bra - What you will need

What you will need:

Bra
Studs (We used 1/2 inch silver studs that we purchased from Studs & Spikes)
Sewing stiletto (or anything that you can use to punch holes such as a razor blade)
Pliers

DIY Studded Bra - Step 1

1. Take a stud and press it against the bra to make an indent in the material.

DIY Studded Bra - Step 2

2. Use the stiletto to poke two holes where the stud has left its indent. If your bra’s material does not contain padding and is thin enough, then you will not need to use a stiletto.

DIY Studded Bra - Step 3

3. Poke the stud’s tines through the holes you have created.

DIY Studded Bra - Step 4

4. To secure the studs in place, use a pair of pliers to bend the tines down.

DIY Studded Bra - Step 5

5. To make sure that the tines are as flat as possible, you can place the bra on a flat surface and press the flat side of the pliers to push down the stud.
